The 2010 Australian Timber Design Awards Magazine
The magazine shows how the best firms in Australasia are using groundbreaking new timber products to drive what Michael Green, principal of Marcus Prize nominated MGB Architecture of Vancouver, has termed a "wood revolution". Michael used his recent speaking tour of Australia -- during which he served as guest judge of the 2010 Awards -- to expound on this vision. He believes that environmental considerations and innovations in engineered wood products have turned timber into the building material of the future. His take-home message: get on top of these innovations before the timber design boom hits Australia. To get a sneak peek at what the future holds for Australian timber design, read through the online ATDA magazine.
